Leenie Breckenridge

singer and songwriter, was born into a large
wonderful family of 10.
She grew up on a cotton and soybean farm
in Woodstock, Tennessee, near Memphis.

At a very early age, Leenie began her studies of
several forms of dance, and excelled in
acrobats, tap, Jazz and ballet.  She sang in all of her
dance recitals at the Ellis Auditorium in Memphis.
She began playing guitar when she was 14.

During elementary and young adult years, Leenie tried
out for every school play they offered, taking whatever
acting, dancing or singing parts she could get. She was
the Tennessee State Champion in the solo one act play
called ‘The Grandmother’ in her junior year of high school.

When Leenie was in her early 20’s, she moved to
Southern California, and sang in a band for 5 years with
John Christmas,
singer, songwriter & record producer.
During that time, her songwriting began.
She attended performing arts classes at
Pasadena City College, under the famed professor Carl
Craig. The band played locally
at several places in Southern California,
including the famous Ice House of Pasadena and The
Troubadour of Los Angeles, and was also an
opening act for Nicolette Larson and others.

Leenie started her Karaoke business in
the Memphis area in 1997. It has been a great experience
for her, rewarding in every way to be back on stage
singing again every week.
Now, she gets to sing Her songs too!

In July of 2004, after several years of not writing,
Leenie’song writing began again with a fervor,
and in 7 months, 19 songs came through her.
She continues to write to this day.

She is so very grateful to
Garden Road Records, Memphis
for the recording of her first album
'Gifts'

Leenie feels she is here to realize her true spiritual
nature and hopes the songs on the album
'Gifts'
will inspire you in some way.

Leenie is currently
recording
her second album 'Shine' at Garden Road Records, Denver.
The release date is not set, but she will keep you posted!

Her songs bring messages of
peace, hope, happiness and love for everyone.

May you be blessed by them.
